On Saturday, February 21, 2026, the exhibition “Tra la Via Emilia e il West. Featuring...” opened at Spazio Gerra in Reggio Emilia.

The project tells the story of how American iconography found its way into the cultural and architectural landscape of the Emilia-Romagna region, among engines, jukeboxes, bright signs, and roads stretching as far as the eye can see.

The exhibition, which can be visited until 22 March, also presents a series of previously unseen photographs taken of singers and songwriters along the Via Emilia (Francesco Guccini, Zucchero, Ligabue, Lucio Dalla, Vasco Rossi and others) and the documentary film 'Fra la via Emilia e Pavana' (2013) by Alessandro Scillitani in a re-edited version that includes an interview with Francesco Guccini by Paolo Rumiz.

'Tra la Via Emilia e il West. Featuring...' introduces the six months of activities dedicated to Francesco Guccini, which will open with an exhibition at Spazio Gerra on 18 April.
