The exhibition "Mondo Piccolo", which opened on August 6th at the Italian Cultural Institute in Copenhagen, has been extended until October 1st. Organised in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Copenhagen, the exhibition is curated by Andrea Tinterri.
The "Mondo Piccolo" project now arrives in Denmark after being hosted last year at the IIC in Amsterdam and numerous previous exhibitions in Italy.
"Mondo Piccolo" is a project that, starting from the lands that gave birth to Giovannino Guareschi, has developed as a sentimental journey in search of a place of the soul rather than a geographical location, where what stands out most strongly is the authentic flavour of a rural world that is still alive, seemingly so close yet increasingly distant.
The image chosen for the exhibition in Copenhagen is intended as a tribute to the summer season in which the exhibition is taking place, while at the same time evoking a feeling of joyful light-heartedness.
