On Saturday 26th March 2022 Paolo Simonazzi's exhibition "Il filo e il fiume" ("The thread and the river") opens to the public, hosted in the historical Palazzo Pigorini in Parma until 8th May. The exhibition, curated by Andrea Tinterri and Ilaria Campioli and organised by the Bondeno Cultura Association (ABC) in close collaboration with the Municipality of Parma as part of the official programme of Parma Capital of Culture 2020+21, features a selection of twenty large-format shots from the project carried out by the photographer from Reggio Emilia between 2013 and 2021 and dedicated to the Po and the territories it crosses.

The exhibition is accompanied by the book of the same name published by Silvana Editoriale, which brings together the entire series of 56 shots and two critical contributions by Davide Papotti and Francesco Zanot.
