March 24, 2025

The group exhibition "Passaggi Paesaggi" at Palazzo Santa Margherita, in Modena, and can be visited until May 4th. I am participating with an unpublished photo, taken on Route 66 in 2001.

The exhibition, curated by Chiara Dall'Olio and Daniele De Luigi, is a journey through Italian photography with 87 authors - including Luigi Ghirri, Gabriele Basilico, Guido Guidi, Olivo Barbieri, Franco Fontana, Gianni Berengo Gardin, Ferdinando Scianna, Mario Cresci, Nino Migliori - and 115 works.

"Passaggi Paesaggi" offers four declinations of the idea of landscape: from the urban to the natural, from the human to the imaginary. Starting from the tradition of the view of the territory it is then possible to trace a series of passages: from the generation of the masters to the latest, from analog to digital, from one genre to another until their overcoming, valorizing the reflections on the medium and the border research.
