8 photographs from “Icons of Liscio” in the exhibition “Echi. L’intimità del ballo”
Saturday 20 January at the Ma.Co.f - Centre of Italian Photography in Brescia opens to the public, until 10 March, "Echi. L'intimità del ballo" (Echoes. The intimacy of dance), a photographic exhibition gathering 90 images by Italian and international authors including Eliott Erwitt, Georg Oddner, Nicola Sansone, Karel Cudlin, Kors van Bennekom, Jeanloup Sieff, Gianni Berengo Gardin and Gabriele Basilico.
Among the images on show, also 8 photographs from "Icons of Liscio" (GuaraldiLAB, 2019), a project dedicated to the iconic posters of dance orchestras in Emilia-Romagna.
Unlike traditional chronological explorations, focuses on dance disciplines or professionals, the exhibition "Echi. L'intimità del ballo" focuses on gestures, the emotions evoked and even the loneliness that can envelop a dance floor.
Ma.Co.F is at 78 Via Moretto in Brescia and is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
